GV Tech is looking for a Computer Systems Analyst to join our team. You will be responsible for Analyzing, managing, improving and building out development workflows and production systems as the company continues to scale.
Responsibilities:
Analyze information processing or computation needs and plan and design computer systems, using techniques such as structured analysis, data modeling, and information engineering.
Install, Configure and Administer Red Hat-Linux, CentOS, Ubuntu, SUSE Linux, AIX, and Windows Server.
Confer with clients regarding the nature of the information processing or computation needs a computer program is to address.
Responsible for designing, planning, and implementing infrastructure, including security, access, and documentation.
Provides technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures as they relate to infrastructure.
Work with stakeholders daily to resolve/work on Incidents, Problems, Changes and Service Requests.
Confer and assess groups, users for multiple projects in Gitlab, Bit bucket. Perform multiple merge requests and explained branching models along with tagging Perform code release to various environments and interact with other technology groups as needed.
Configure DSC configurations to deploy Web Servers to Azure VMs. Configured Azure Automation DSC configuration management to assign permissions through RBAC, assign nodes to proper automation accounts and DSC configurations, to get alerted on any changes made to nodes and their configuration
Design high availability (HA) applications on AWS across Availability Zones and Availability Regions
Set up storage data in AWS using S3 bucket and configuring backups to S3 bucket, archiving data to Glacier. Created VPN connection, Create VPC peering between many VPC's in AWS
Review and analyze computer printouts and performance indicators to locate code problems, and correct errors by correcting codes.
Manage and administer the Cloud Infrastructure automation that has been orchestrated using Ansible and Terraform.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer, IT, Electronics or equivalent with a field experience of at least 3 years with computer systems analysis, supporting application infrastructure and experience with large scale enterprise systems
A minimum of 3 years experience providing IT infrastructure support in a multi-platform virtual, cloud and physical environments.
Detailed knowledge of current trends and developments in information systems and their practical applications, as they relate to scope of responsibilities.
Experience in Azure cloud services like IAAS, SAAS and PAAS, Azure Websites, Caching, SQL Azure, NoSQL, Storage, Network services, Azure Active Directory, API Management, Scheduling, Auto Scaling, ARM Templates.
Experience in AWS, focused mainly on cloud networking, EC2/ECS, RDS, S3/CloudFront, Route53/Cloud Map, ACM & Cloud Security Best Practices.
Expert knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Red Hat Satellite and Red Hat Identity Management platform.
Knowledge and hands-on experience supporting Tomcat, JBoss, or IBM WebSphere application servers.
Knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift platform.
Knowledge of DevOps and experience with Jira, Git/Bitbucket, Maven and Crucible development tools.
Thorough understanding of the following: TCP/IP, Red Hat Linux security, NFS, DNS, NTP, systems/network security, VMWare virtualization.
Experience with the use of Azure public cloud infrastructure as a service platform.
Administration and understanding of monitoring tools.
Ability to troubleshoot & diagnose infrastructure problems.
Experience with, and understanding of, peripheral systems like network, load balancing/workload management, application development, operating system, and with monitoring systems like Splunk, Nagios, ELK stack etc.
Thorough understanding of network, host-based security controls and Linux servers hardening process.
Create documentation for troubleshooting, best practices, performance, optimization, and remediation.
Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to both business and technical management.
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
Familiarity with IT Service Management framework.
